This is Mark Gorton
Millionaire venture capitalist and Founder and CEO of think tank lobby for public spaces @OpenPlans
He, his organization and their benefactors want to take over the streets of New York City and he thinks citizens that own cars are pigs thar are in their way
In Mark Gorton's "Get it" he strangely @BilldeBlasio for 17 minutes for implementing historically expansive bike infrastructure and "open streets" during his 2 terms and the vision zero program to make streets safer, but feels he didn't do it good enough.
Sure de Blasio was a shit mayor during the pandemic, but Mark thought Blaz should have forced people to stop driving cars. Even tho people drove because they were told you could catch covid on the train
But the existence of 🚘was as serious as a virus that killed millions
Gorton then gushes over the open streets program approved by @NYCCouncil. Started because people needed outdoor space for recreation to avoid getting covid. He also gushes how @NYC_DOT had more power to implement them

Gorton continues praising the DOT with their implementing outdoor dining program, which was also done to stop covid even though most of the shanties were enclosed and most of them are now blighted with graffiti and trash. But all that mattered was seeing no parked cars.
On 14th st busway, Gorton describes @NYC_DOT as an abused stepchild neglected by de Blasio and verbally assaulted by collective bitching by monster community groups who were against this and open streets/restaurants.
Gorton thought de Blasio should have ignored his constituents
